Our Mission & Background

Learn how New Start Living supports children and young people with specialised therapeutic frameworks, pathways to independence, and safe living environments.

Why New Start Living Exists

For many children and young people, transitioning out of local authority care can feel overwhelming and unsupported. We aim to break that cycle. By providing structured accommodation, personalised care plans, and continuous career mentorship, we empower individuals to take control of their own futures.

Our team collaborates closely with local authorities to ensure full Ofsted compliance, safety requirements, and therapeutic care alignments. Every young person in our care is given a voice and the tools they need to achieve dignity, independence, and happiness.

Our Core Philosophy

  • Therapeutic Frameworks: Structuring clinical and lifestyle support side-by-side.
  • Empowerment: Training life skills, financial budget systems, and self-care daily.
  • Advocacy: Defending rights and ensuring legal access for UASC and young minors.

Our Goal

Our Goal & Commitments

Our mission is to provide exceptional children's residential care and supported accommodation for care leavers and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, creating safe, stable, and nurturing environments where every young person can thrive.

We are committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care that empowers young people to overcome challenges, develop resilience, and build the confidence and independence needed for adulthood. Every child and young person is treated with dignity, respect, and understanding, ensuring they feel valued, heard, and supported throughout their journey.

By working collaboratively with local authorities, professionals, and families where appropriate, we help young people achieve positive outcomes, reach their full potential, and build the foundations for brighter, more independent futures.
